After the file finishes downloading, you are ready to run Speccy. If you downloaded the installer, simply double-click on it and follow the prompts until installation is complete. I also went sztellite my device manager and it told me there was a problem with the High Definintion Audio Controller, but it won’t let me fix it and install it I guess. You can download Fatdog64 linux here. If it doesn’t work there, you can be fairly certain it is hardware related.

Toshiba L505D-S5983 No USB or Sound
Let me explain when I did the install I was prompted to do a bios update I believe that when everything went wrong not positive but something is very wrong. Remember me This is not recommended for shared computers. I also tried to restore my laptop to a later date, but that didn’t work either.
I haven’t tried downloading anything so I have no idea what it is talking about. Thanks i’ve tried installing the Realtek audio driver for windows 7 5 times and it still doesn’t do anything.
The best place to put it is the Desktop, as it will be easy to find later. If the devices are working properly you should see them somewhere in device manager.

Not sure what the HDMI reference is here Bicycle – Mark Twain said it right. Burn a disc and boot to the disc, then test sound in Mint.

Satellite LD-S Support | Toshiba
Although I did do windows updates just to see if it would pick satellife back up and nothing happened. Once inside Speccy, it will look similar to this with your computer’s specifications, of course: It troubleshoots the problem when I click on the volume speaker on my toolbar and tells me that hardware changes may not have been detected.
It is possible for the chipsets to fail. And the sound driver is the very reason I needed the help because I can’t get it to install. Here is some info that might help?
